Host A Paint Your Own Pottery Birthday Party
Our paint your own pottery studio in Winona Lake is the perfect location for your child’s next birthday party! You bring the guests, treats, and decorations. We provide the unique experience of creating something special and memorable—and we do the clean-up, too!
What To Expect
If your child’s party will include six or more guests, you can choose for them to paint pottery together, or if the guests are age 9 and older, they can work with fused glass or wet clay.
Once you decide which option is the best fit for your child’s pottery birthday party, give us a call to reserve our loft area. The loft comfortably accommodates 18 people.
On the day of your party, you can bring in food, drinks, balloons, cake, and other decorations to make the space as festive as you like (please no pinatas!)
If your child’s party includes fewer than six guests, the group can choose from the available bisque pottery pieces on our main floor. A studio fee ($5 for 12 and under / $8 for 13 and over) is added to the piece of pottery chosen to cover additional materials, paint, glazes, tool usage, and firing the pottery.
Birthday Party Options
The below party packages apply to parties held during regular studio hours. After-hours parties are also available. We require at least 10 guests and/or a $100 studio rental fee to accommodate parties held after business hours.
Pottery Birthday Parties
Availability of specific bisque pottery items may vary, you can always check with us about what will be available when making your reservation. The below party options are for children ages 12 and under.
$15/guest
Party guests can choose to paint a dessert plate, mug, bowl, figurine, or coin bank. Pricing includes a keepsake plate custom-made for the guest of honor.
$20/guest
Party guests can choose to paint a salad plate, mug, cat figurine, bowl, flower box, or coin bank. Pricing includes a keepsake plate custom-made for the guest of honor.
$25/guest
Party guests can choose to paint any single item from our main floor valued at $20 or less. Pricing includes a keepsake plate custom-made for the guest of honor.
Fused Glass Art Party
A fused glass art birthday party is available for children ages 9 and older. Choose from either a sun catcher, plate, or votive creation.
$18/guest
Each artist will begin with a clear 5” square base and create a beautiful sun catcher to hang in a window.
$23/guest
Each guest will start with a clear 5” square base and create a functional piece of beautiful glass artwork that can be shaped and used as either a plate or a votive.
Wet Clay Party
Wet clay birthday parties are available for children ages 9 and older. Guests can enjoy creating a slab-rolled project. Past projects that have been popular include a hanging picture frame, owl wall-hangings, and the ABC letters of each child’s name made into hanging wall art.
$25/guest
The $25 fee includes access to an instructor for 1.5 hours, wet clay supplies, bisque firing in the kiln, and the return studio fee to paint your projects.
For children ages 2-5, we recommend each child be accompanied by a parent or adult (other than the party host) to ensure one-on-one supervision is provided and every child can enjoy their time painting at the party.
Available Party Times
To help ensure availability and proper staffing, please make your party reservations 2–3 weeks in advance.
Monday – Saturday
Party time slots are available from 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, or from 4pm-6pm.
Sunday
Sunday party slots are available from 12pm-2pm or from 2pm-4pm.
Loft Reservations
To make a reservation for your party, call us at 574-267-2655 or visit our studio in the Village At Winona to pay the loft rental fee of $25. This non-refundable rental fee holds the loft for your chosen date and time.
Hosts are charged $15 per every 15 minutes their party runs over the end time.
Please be aware that additional fees may apply for guests who stay beyond the ending time of their scheduled party.
